The 09Design Performance Brake Disc upgrade for the Puma ST has been developed to deliver confident, consistent braking performance for fast road use. 

Designed to work seamlessly together with our performance brake pads to offer improved pedal feel, dependable stopping power, and enhanced thermal stability compared to standard OEM braking components.

Front discs, sold as a pair. Compatible with all ST (1.5 and 1.0) models.

Yes, some additional NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) can occur with grooved discs, particularly when paired with more aggressive pad compounds. This is considered normal for performance braking components.

Yes the grooves machined into the disc face also act as a visual wear indicator. As the grooves become shallow or disappear, the disc is approaching its minimum thickness.

Absolutely. Correct bedding-in is critical to ensure optimal braking performance, proper material transfer, and reduced risk of vibration or uneven braking behaviour.

Installation should only be carried out by a suitably qualified individual. Incorrect installation or bedding-in may negatively affect braking performance and safety.

After intense braking, avoid keeping the brake pedal firmly applied for extended periods whilst stationary. Although performance discs are designed to withstand high temperatures, localised “hot spotting” can still occur if excessive heat is trapped between the pad and disc surface.

For optimal braking performance, we strongly recommend pairing upgraded pads and discs with a high-quality performance brake fluid such as Motul RBF660 or Motul DOT4 LV, depending on vehicle application and intended use.
