- Loosen the locking nuts on the drop link body to allow the ball joint ends to move freely.
- Attach the upper ball joint to the anti-roll bar.
- Lower the car so the suspension is fully loaded (wheels on the ground).
- Position the lower ball joint into the mounting hole on the suspension strut; it should fit smoothly without force. Adjust the link length if necessary.
- Ensure an equal amount of thread is visible on both ball joints to keep the load balanced.
- Tighten the locking nuts to secure the adjustment.
For everyday road use, aim for a neutral, tension-free setup. Extra preload is only recommended for track use by experienced drivers.
