Transform your Fiesta ST or Puma ST engine bay with the 09Design Aluminium Coolant Header Tank, a direct replacement for the standard plastic expansion tank that combines precision engineering, improved durability and unmistakable 09D styling.

Manufactured from billet aluminium using a two-piece design, the tank replaces one of the most visually prominent plastic components within the engine bay with a substantial, precision-machined alternative. Finished in anodised black, the intricate machined detailing across the upper section creates a distinctive technical appearance that complements the rest of the 09D engine bay range.

Unlike many aftermarket aluminium header tanks, we've also retained an easy way to check the coolant level. An integrated internal fill-level indicator uses a raised platform positioned directly beneath the filler neck, allowing the coolant level to be visually checked simply by removing the cap and looking into the tank.

Rather than accepting that compromise, the 09D Billet Aluminium Header Tank incorporates a dedicated fill-level indicator inside the tank.

The factory expansion tank performs its job, but its translucent plastic construction can look out of place in a modified engine bay and can deteriorate and become brittle or discolour with age. The 09D tank replaces it with a precision-machined billet aluminium component designed to provide both a substantial upgrade in construction and a significantly more premium appearance.

As the vehicle's cooling system needs to be opened, however, installation should be carried out with the engine completely cold and the cooling system correctly topped-up and checked afterwards.
