As always, there was plenty to see both inside and outside the workshop.
Alongside rows of customer cars, visitors were treated to an impressive collection of special vehicles, including the stunning Heritage Ford GT, an original BMW E30 M3 press car, a Ford Mustang 5.0 GT, a classic Chevrolet Corvette and a host of other 09D development cars.
Outside, the 'paddock' was filled from start to finish, while the workshop doors remained open throughout the day, giving everyone the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes. Our team were on hand to talk visitors through how products are developed at 09D, from 3D scanning and CAD design through to prototyping, in-house manufacturing and final validation. It's something we're incredibly proud of, and it's always great to show people exactly what goes into every product before it reaches their car.
Of course, it wouldn't be Saturday Social without a few surprises. Last time round one tank stole the show... this year there were two - yes, that's an 09D Chieftain! Safe to say they attracted plenty of attention throughout the day.
Back inside, our pop-up shop was kept busy, with customers taking advantage of exclusive event offers and leaving with everything from billet upgrades to induction kits and accessories. Our FLASHlink calibration team were equally busy, helping customers unlock more performance in just a few minutes using nothing more than their mobile phone, an HP Tuners app and our OBD interface.
